Consequences
Stage | Consequence | Action |

1. | Negative points | Tutor involvement. |
2 | Removal from classroom/serious incident | Detention with classroom teacher/ subject leader. Parent/Carer informed. |
3 | White report (for continued misbehaviour) | Tutor contacts Parent/Carer. |
4 | Yellow report (for failing White report) | Parent/Carer contacted by Year Leader/Assistant Year Leader. |
5 | Behaviour Contract (for failing Yellow report) | Parent/Carer and student to attend meeting with Year Leader to agree a 4 week behaviour contract. |
6 | Reflection Room (for breaking contract) | Student in Reflection Room for 1-5 days and contract extended. |
7 | Senior Leadership Team (SLT) Panel (for breaking contract a second time) | Parent/Carer and student to attend meeting with SLT panel. Red Report to be issued. |
8 | Red report (following SLT panel meeting) | Report monitored by Progress Leader/SLT and reviewed with Parent/Carer. |
9 | Governors' Student Welfare and Admissions meeting (for failing Red report) | Parent/Carer and student required to meet Governors. |
10 | Alternative Provision. | Student may be sent to either internal or external provision at school's discretion. |
11 | Managed move to a different school. | Student may have to move to a different school in Hartlepool. |
12 | Permanent exclusion | If student is still failing despite the support and extra provision detailed above, permanent exclusion may be considered. |
Please note that REFLECTION, ALTERNATE PROVISION (internal/external) or FIXED TERM EXCLUSION may be used at any point, at the school's discretion.
